Ali is our fabulous numbers lady who deals with anything that requires form filling or adding up. She’s been with Bright Vision longer than anyone else, and knows absolutely everything about everyone. If there’s something you don’t know – ask Ali.
She first joined us back in 2003 after a career break to have her three lovely daughters. Prior to starting her family she studied Engineering Science at uni before moving over to accountancy as a graduate, training with firms in Oxford and York, to qualify as a Chartered Accountant with ICAEW in 1992.
Since starting with us, she has seen the company change, evolve and grow to become a highly respected leader in the events industry, something that fills her with immense pride.
Ali loves working here, saying it’s just like one big family, where we all look out for each other and work brilliantly together as a team. When you do manage to drag her away from her spreadsheets, she can be found enjoying one of her many hobbies: singing, running, yoga, learning Italian and going for long (and sometimes very long) walks.
Being married to a history professor from Scotland, her main holiday destinations are remote Scottish Islands off the North Coast where she’s never happier than when she’s beachcombing on deserted white sandy beaches – if only it wasn’t so cold!
