Walking the Walk for ‘Write the Talk’

A Falconry ‘pre-conference’ Session for Write the Talk
Our conference production services took a different twist when we were called in to provide a short but stimulating session for a two-day conference for Write the Talk at Fawsley Hall, near Daventry. Write the Talk, as their name suggests use writing, in the form of story building skills to attract attention, build audiences and make things happen, which is exactly what they wanted us to do for them.
Our brief was to provide a pre-conference session to get their team in the right mood for their important company conference. In conjunction with Sue Madigan from Write the Talk, a Falconry Programme was chosen with a wide selection of birds to be handled and flown, including hawks and owls as well as falcons.
On a perfect morning and in the wonderful surroundings of Fawsley Hall, dominated by the centuries old cedar tree, a truly memorable display was put on. The absolute favourite of the show was a 5-week-old Eagle Owl called Boudica who stole the hearts of the guests as she ambled from guest to guest introducing herself.
