Sales & Marketing Executive
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (dependant on experience)
Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director
The Role
We are looking for a proactive and creative Sales & Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both sales and marketing activity, ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple projects and wants to develop their career in a fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Director to deliver marketing campaigns, support business development activity, manage digital channels, and venue sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Content
- Create marketing content including emails, blogs, case studies, and promotional materials
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
- Help maintain brand consistency across all platforms
- Ensure marketing collateral is current and accurate
Social Media
- Plan, create, and schedule social media content
- Monitor engagement and respond to messages and comments
Sales Support
- Support the Sales & Marketing Director with projects, proposals, and client activity
- Prepare sales presentations and marketing documents
- Maintain CRM records and track activity
- Source venues for clients, including research, supplier liaison, checking availability, and presenting options
- Track performance and report on analytics
- Identify trends and opportunities to grow brand awareness
Website Support
- Update website content including blogs, case studies, and event information
- Ensure website information is accurate and up to date
- Support basic SEO activity
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a hotel, venue, events agency, or similar environment
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and scheduling/analytics tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident creating marketing content
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to work occasional evenings when required for events or client needs
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms and associated tools
- Experience in venue sourcing
- Experience supporting sales teams or working with client proposals
