Our client was delighted with our creative team building activities
Our client had this to say about the creative team building event we ran for his company: “I just wanted to drop you an email to say a massive thank you for Thursday last week! The feedback that I have had today since coming back off annual leave has been amazing! Everyone enjoyed the day, and the team you had on site were fantastic too!”
It was a great event, built around our popular ‘Alternative Olympics’ team building package, and we’re pleased to fill out some more of the detail here.
The Details of this Event
The event took place at the superb Chicheley Hall, set in the lovely Buckinghamshire countryside near Milton Keynes, on Thursday 4th July 2019, with 95 guests attending. Chicheley Hall is a stunning venue in a beautiful setting, perfect for team activities. The hotel’s staff were very supportive and very professional at all times – an essential component at any event.
As always, we worked closely with the client who selected the Alternative Olympics, featuring a range of team building challenges, each lasting 15 minutes. We offer 18 different challenges to select from, which allows clients to choose that are most suited to their needs, meaning each event is bespoke and truly targeted.
Our client chose the following sports challenges:
- Towers of Hanoi
- Perfect match
- Cata-Hats
- Sumo penalty shootout
- Missing treasure
- Chariots
- Finale – The Egg Launch
This selection provided a balanced programme, offering a good mixture of competitive activities, that were designed to suit all participants and ensure everyone got plenty out of the day. The programme was designed to be very flexible and was being fine-tuned right up to the week before the event.
The weather stayed fine, and everything went off with a lot of humour, providing great entertainment, warm memories and, of course, good team experiences. The participants were highly entertained all afternoon.
Not Forgetting the Important Small Touches
A great deal of planning goes into every event, and it is often the small touches, sometimes unseen or not needed that characterise a Bright Vision event. In this case, for Health and Safety purposes we arranged for refreshments halfway through the programme, and for extra peace of mind, we also had a qualified medic available – just in case.
The event was managed by one of our experienced comperes, to ensure everything ran smoothly, who was supported by our fully trained staff.
